Meet Latif Kasumba, the designer who has been with Mambo and still with us

Mambo entertains Uganda believes in spotting, developing and appreciating talent. We discovered Latif Madoi  Kasumba. For starters, he is one of the best fashion designers in Uganda, because of him; Uganda has many fashion designers who he passed out after training them at his Latif Academy school, a school which teaches fashion, it is located in Kawempe Jakana road.

Latif Madoi, in a cap with the C.E.O Mambo Entertains, Micheal Lule. This was during a fashion show organised by Mambo Entertains in Amsterdam

Mambo Entertains Uganda loves being Unique and local and so does latif, this is one of the reasons that have made  us work with Latif all this while.

LATIF according to him says it stands for Local Artiste Latest in Fashion or Local Artsite and Talented International Fashionista

Latif made this outfit for himself, guess how he calls it? Mpasaati, this means a shirt made from a jean pair of trousers, don't you think when he makes many of them it cant be a mileage for him ?

Fashion shows organized by Mambo Entertains internationally have been handled by Latif, he has left a legacy back there most especially in Europe in countries that include Germany and Netherlands where Mambo main offices are located. By that, they know Uganda is not doing badly when it comes to fashion, all thanks to Latif.

Latif does live clothing

Latif is known for making a dress live on stagewithin  five  minutes. Do you also know that he designed Lucky Dube’s outfit when he came to Uganda??

Don’t miss him as he will be showcasing on 24th April during a fashion show organized by Mambo Entertains dubbed FASHION IN ACTION, it will take place at The Mask Lounge located  in Bukoto.
